Prior to fitting your new Rubber (EPDM) flat roof system, we take great care in removing the old one and disposing of either with a skip on-site or at our own premises.

We then prepare the roof properly making sure the area is clean and in the best possible condition to receive the 18mm Exterior grade decking boards then a vapour barrier before fitting the insulation boards (inhabitable room Warm-Roof). The Rubber (EPDM) membrane is then fully adhered to the insulation panels or onto the 18mm exterior decking (garage etc Cold-Roof). All edges are finished mechanically with a smart plastisol metal trim.

The key to creating a long term flat roof is using the best materials. It’s a well-known fact that conventional flat roofs will leak over time, normally when the felt or GRP (glass fibre) breaks down from UV rays or standing water in winter. With our materials, however, things are a little different. The FLAT ROOF SYSTEM used by ourselves is fully tested to last 50 YEARS, is UV resistant and remains flexible in the most extremes of weather, will withstand pooling water and does not promote moss growth.

Our Rubber Membrane (EPDM) system is guaranteed for a full 20 years with a lifespan minimum of 50 years and our liquid overlay system is fully guaranteed for 10 years with a lifespan minimum of 20 years.
